Book signing: Niles author G.R. Pearson Burrel reads at Artpost Gallery

Niles author G.R. Pearson Burrel will be reading from her book of poetry, Passion Under the Purple Parasol, at Artpost Gallery on February 4^th from 6-7:30 pm. This inspirational book of verse talks about life, love and spirituality, and is a good read for young adults. A book signing will take place following her reading, and all four of Pearson Burrel’s books will be available for purchase.

G.R. Pearson Burrel has a Bachelors Degree in English Literature, Speech and Theatre from Grand Valley State University and a Masters in Educational Administration from Western Michigan University. She taught English to Middle School students at Niles Community Schools, has written four books and produced a CD of inspirational music. Her husband, Carlton Burrel, is also an educator and together they have raised four children and are grandparents of six.
