In 1996, when I was in my 30’s, my parents sold the family farm where I was raised. Most of it went to a peat moss extraction company. The corporation ended its operations over a decade ago, and the property was abandoned. I began visiting there to take secluded walks due to COVID-19 and I’ve found it far from deserted. These images explore the land as a witness, examining marks left by those passing through.
